About the role
We are looking to expand our Work Winning team with a skilled and enthusiastic Bid Writer to be based in our Head Office in Swindon, Wiltshire.
You will produce responses for PQQs and Tenders including; unique responses, references, case studies, CVs (in liaison with Bid Coordinators) and project experience; and ensure all tender documentation is presented to a uniformly high standard by editing and proofreading submission documents, as well as (when required) coordinating and supporting in the production and finalisation of documents.
The role will require you to provide feedback to the Head of Submissions, Bid Managers and Bid Coordinators of progress with responses and create the final publication, and with the team, ensure the bid is delivered to the client on time.
About you
Within this role, you will be required to have a background or previous experience in journalism, or writing. Technical knowledge of civil engineering/construction would also be beneficial.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of how to formulate a technical response favourable (or beyond) to the clients requirements and communicating this both in the written and visual spectrums and therefore, demonstrate a high level of competence in written English.
You must be able to work collaboratively, setting and acting upon clear and realistic goals and objectives. The ability to use your own initiative, question assumptions and learn from and share experiences is also essential for this role.
