Job role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £38,000-£40,000 (OTE £45,000)
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday - Friday Flexible hours (or 08.00-16.30)

The Role:
* Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
* Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
* Work on an array of fabrication, cutting, pressing, shot blasting & spraying equipment.
* Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
* Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
* Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
The Requirements:
* Mechanical Bias
* Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer within Plant, Manufacturing, FMCG, Moulding would be advantageous
* Relevant qualification or time served engineers (over 10 years experience for time served / City & Guilds / NVQs)
* A good understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be advantageous
* Open for training & development
