I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager to manage two Homes that provide services to children and young people with mental health issues and emotional and behavioural disorders. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives, guiding them towards a brighter future while upholding the highest standards of care. Both homes offer up to 3 placement.
In this Registered Mangers role you will:
• Manage the residential homes on a day-to-day basis
• Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support
• Coach, support and develop staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care
• Assist in budget preparation and manage and control budgets
• Interpret and implement changes in legislation relating to occupancy to ensure any requirements are met
• Identify resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff
For this rewarding role you must have:
• QCF Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this
• Managerial experience within a similar environment including supervisory experience
• Proven track record with Ofsted
• Minimum 2 years recent residential care experience
• A full UK driving licence Essential
• Experience of project/ work planning, monitoring and reviewing
