Deputy Front of House Manager
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,500 per annum
Shifts Patterns are mostly Monday-Friday with approximately one Saturday in three, and the very occasional Sunday.
Location: Prestigious Independent School near Petworth, West Sussex – GU28 0NB.
The School is located at South Down's Lavington Park, a 400-acre Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example, stepping in wherever needed to support your team.
* Manage communications with the Seaford team, service and event delivery, and theme days, representing Holroyd Howe's high standards.
* Oversee events of all kinds, managing the front of house team, team deployment, and training to maintain our exceptional standards.
* Ensure client service is always a top priority, acting as the go-to person for shift handovers and providing stellar service.
* Maintain a professional approach at all times, managing stocks, ordering, finances, and POS systems related to events.
* Stay updated on food and industry trends, incorporating new service styles and concepts into our offerings.
* Assess employee performance, identify training needs, and ensure training aligns with company policies.
* Deliver monthly training with team members
* Conduct job chats and performance reviews, maintaining development plans.
* Hold regular team meetings to communicate important information, standards, and improve team cohesion.
* Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to Health and Safety policies.
* Provide regular Health, Hygiene, and Safety training.
* Empower, support, and encourage your team, maintaining an open-door policy.
* Lead team briefings before each service, ensuring company processes are achieved at all times.
* Work closely with the team, and management.
* Ensure customers receive prompt and efficient service, consistently exceeding their expectations.
* Be visible during service periods, approachable, and proactive in fulfilling customer needs.
* Maintain clean and fully stocked service areas.
* Lead front of house service, in dining rooms, and events.
* Liaise with the hospitality manager to ensure top-notch service throughout the day.
* Ensure clients and goods are checked in and out with correct documentation and complete full closure of events.
* Treat and lead your team members as you would expect to be treated.
* Ensure company policies are adhered to and carry out kitchen/service duties as needed.
* Complete all monitoring forms, books and allergy documentation meticulously
* Attend required training courses and follow cleaning schedules rigorously.
* Ensure all health and safety policies are observed and adhered to.
