The Role: Procurement & UK Operations Manager
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you’ll be an integral part of a small, dynamic team. In this diverse role, you will:
1. Lead the management and development of 3rd-party UK packaging and distribution centre.
2. Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support effective supply chain planning.
3. Streamline system-driven procurement processes to optimise product sourcing.
4. Collaborate with suppliers and freight providers to ensure quality, performance, and cost are optimized.
5. Analyse and present data on product, supplier, and facility performance.
6. Manage procurement and product data within the ERP system.
7. Ensure compliance by maintaining supplier and product records and contracts.
8. Coordinate customer orders shipping directly from manufacturing sites.
Your Skills and Experience
Technical Skills (Essential):
1. Proven experience in warehousing and/or manufacturing industries.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
3. Expertise in procurement and demand planning.
4. Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems.
5. Database maintenance in WMS/ERP systems.
6. Product sourcing and costing.
7. Knowledge of international shipping.
8. Experience working with remote sites.
Your Qualities
1. Analytical and operationally minded.
2. Strong mathematical skills with commercial awareness.
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
