HGV Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start Available Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently looking to recruit a class 2 driver for laundry deliveries within Edinburgh and surrounding areas. New passes welcome Requirements: Licence: Valid Category C Licence Certifications: CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card Driving Record: Maximum of 9 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements due to insurance requirements) Key Responsibilities: Maintain regular communication with the transport management team Deliver and collect clean and used linen Assist with loading and unloading at delivery points Unload the vehicle upon return to the depot after completing your run Daily vehicle checks Pay & Benefits: Monday–Friday: £13.50 per hour (PAYE) Saturday: £17.99 per hour (PAYE) Sunday: £20.25 per hour (PAYE) Night rate: £17.99 per hour (PAYE) Overtime (after 8 hours): £17.99 per hour (PAYE) Minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift Weekly pay Holiday accrual with every shift Ad-hoc shifts – flexibility to fit around other commitments This is a physically demanding role so would suit someone who has had experience within the same or similar field. Previous experience working with customers would be advantageous. Start times are - 0400 or 1330 Monday- Sunday Ideal for drivers based in: Dalkeith, Leith, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas.
