An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a global organisation at the heart of the business on a Permanent basis.
About the Role
1. Responsible for value stream (Product Line) performance - Quality, Delivery on-time etc.
2. Owner of the Assembly value stream (Scheduling and Operations) and key stakeholder in the demand scheduling for the primary functions (internal manufacture and purchasing).
3. Focal point for Ops and Supply Chains reporting structures.
4. Key contact to maintain customer relationships, both via Customer Service & Product Management Teams and directly with customers.
5. Observe and comply with Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
6. Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business from time to time.
About You
1. Previous experience in people management of either a production line or assembly.
2. Experienced in working collaboratively with the Supply Chain team.
3. TEOA / Lean implementation experience (Essential).
4. Planning / Scheduling experience / exposure.
5. Ability to become a Product expert with training.
