An Outstanding Girls' school in Harrow is seeking a dynamic and innovative Computing Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Computing Teacher will inspire female students in the digital world across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering their computational thinking and digital literacy. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Computing Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in Computing. Develop students' computational thinking, programming skills, and understanding of digital technologies. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Computing Teacher. Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular computing activities and clubs. Encourage girls' participation and interest in STEM fields. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computing or Computer Science. Proven experience teaching Computing at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored for engaging girls in STEM.
