Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the HR Business Partner and Adviser, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain and organize employee personal files securely, adhering strictly to data protection protocols. Process and update information in the HR system, including staff details, qualifications, and absence records, to ensure accuracy. Assist in driving effective recruitment and selection processes by connecting with agencies and responding to candidate inquiries. Conduct thorough screening checks (DBS, references, etc.) to verify employee eligibility before they start work. Oversee agency staff placements and ensure completion of the necessary documentation and screening checks. Prepare essential payroll documentation and monitor return-to-work interviews and absence reports. Serve as the primary contact for routine staff queries, directing complex issues to the HR Business Partner when necessary. Draft employment contracts and facilitate exit interviews, ensuring seamless transitions. Person Specification: Essential Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Exceptional attention to detail alongside outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work independently while managing competing tasks under pressure. Solid understanding of Safer Recruitment principles and commitment to Equality and Diversity. Proficiency in HR systems, Excel, and Word. Desirable Qualifications: Certificate in Personnel Practice and/or Level 3 CIPD, or a commitment to pursue these qualifications. Prior experience in recruitment and general HR processes is advantageous. Familiarity with database management to enhance HR efficiency.
