Job Title: Snr Product Clearance Engineer

Salary: £47,683
What you'll be doing:
1. Support Qualification & Clearance activities across multiple contracts including the qualification of Avionics Systems design changes
2. Collaborate with Safety, System Problem Reports and Test Requirements teams to release capability in line with programme demands
3. Operate with autonomy as a senior engineer while assisting the Team Leader with team responsibilities and coaching junior team members
4. Generate Clearance documentation and assess certification evidence and shortfalls including their impact
5. Present certification for sign-off while identifying and tracking dependencies and coordinating with external teams for required inputs
6. Assess traceability of Clearance evidence and support wider programme reviews
Your skills and experience:
1. Knowledge of the Typhoon platform highly desirable or strong understanding of Avionics systems
2. Experience with the qualification and certification process
3. Familiarity with Jira Agile project management tool
4. Ability to work to agreed timescales with an understanding of configuration control
5. Excellent communicator with a STEM degree or relevant experience and qualifications showing integrity under delivery pressure
6. Structured approach to problem solving with ability to self-manage workload
