Overview:
We are currently seeking a Posting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring efficient posting of information. Prior Post Office experience is preferred but not essential. Staff will be expected to manage the shop till when needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Office duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
2. Typing and data entry tasks to update records accurately
3. Computerising information for easy access and retrieval
4. Organisational tasks to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace
5. Clerical duties such as sorting mail
6. Data entry into databases or spreadsheets
7. Demonstrating professional phone etiquette when handling calls
Skills:
1. Proficient in office procedures and equipment operation
2. Attention to detail
3. Ability to computerise data accurately
4. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
5. Administrative capabilities to support office operations effectively
6. Clerical competence in handling paperwork and correspondence
7. Data entry proficiency for accurate record keeping
8. Professional phone etiquette when communicating with internal and external contacts
Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
