Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the People Director, this role will play a leading role in shaping, managing, and overseeing our reward and benefits programs, ensuring our structure is fair, competitive, and aligned with the team’s strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Develop a reward strategy that aligns with the team’s overall business goals, conducting market research to ensure we remain competitive to attract, retain, and engage our employees.
2. Manage the employee flexible benefits program, including health and wellbeing benefits, pension plans, holidays and paid time off, salary sacrifice initiatives and other flexible benefits.
3. Implement performance-based bonuses, incentives, and merit-based pay increases.
4. Benchmark salaries and design and maintain salary bands and ranges for different job positions.
5. Conduct job evaluations to determine the relative value and complexity of different roles within the company, establishing fair and appropriate salary levels for each position.
6. Analyse internal compensation data and trends and make informed recommendations and adjustments.
7. Monitor reward practices through market trends and industry best practice.
8. Lead on the implementation of any new pay and employee benefit initiatives, providing advice and direction to all levels of employees and leaders across McLaren Racing.
9. Lead effective communication campaigns that promote our reward and benefits programs and investment in our people.
10. Collaborate with our finance team to establish and manage budgets for compensation and benefits programs.
11. Collaborate with third-party vendors to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues .
12. Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
13. Proven experience in managing reward and benefits programmes.
14. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
16. Passion for developing reward programmes that drive a competitive advantage and a positive workplace culture
17. Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLarenTechnology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.
Our state of the art, sustainable campus offersmany facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break-outareas, as well as direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connectedto Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which LondonWaterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
