To build on this continuing change we are looking to recruit two Senior Engineers, a Senior Technician and a Technician in the Transport Projects team. Are you an enthusiastic individual with a working knowledge of transport scheme design? Do you have a willingness to build on and share your experience with others while developing a variety of schemes with an active travel focus? Are your communication skills, computer skills (including AutoCAD) and ingenuity up to developing imaginative transport projects? If so we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop imaginative transport projects with an active travel focus.
2. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and experience.
3. Utilize communication and computer skills in transport scheme design.
Requirements:
1. Working knowledge of transport scheme design.
2. Experience with AutoCAD.
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
It is anticipated that interviews will take place during the week commencing 9 December 2024.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
