Purpose of the role:
As Head of Property Transformation, you will lead and oversee strategic upgrades and value-adding projects across property. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, working with cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of property projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, project management, and budgeting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of property projects, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, vendor selection, and quality assurance.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability for each project.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Build and maintain relationships with key partners to ensure effective collaboration.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for all transformation activities, ensuring that upgrades meet both regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to property operations.
Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budgets, and timelines to senior management and stakeholders.
Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative solutions into property transformations to improve energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and increase the long-term value of the properties.
Customer Focus: Act as a point of contact for residents and stakeholders during transformations to address any concerns and ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout the process.
Skils, experience & qualifications:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of Supplier Relationship Managers and other supply chain professionals.
Excellent analytical skills to assess supply chain performance, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Real Estate, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong experience in property management, project management, or a related field.
Excellent project management skills, with experience using software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving approach
Driven to achieve goals and deliver high-quality results while working effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships.
Open to new ideas and approaches to improve supply chain operations.
Able to handle pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
