As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the complete payroll process for a wide range of clients.
This role offers the flexibility to work mostly from home, with only one day per week required in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all payroll functions, including statutory payments, deductions, auto-enrollment, payment processing, and year-end reporting.
2. Process payroll for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
3. Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Provide exceptional client service by promptly and professionally addressing payroll-related queries.
5. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation to ensure continuous compliance with all processes.
6. Collaborate effectively with the team and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
1. In-depth understanding of payroll and auto-enrollment legislation and processes.
2. Strong knowledge of IRIS (STAR) payroll software is highly preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, preferably within an accountancy firm.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
6. Proactive, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
7. Capable of managing client relationships with professionalism and efficiency.
