What you’ll do:
For our site in South Molton, part of our The Fuel and Motion Control Systems (FMC) - we are looking for a HR Business Partner (FTC – 12 months) Maternity cover.
Role overview:
The HR Business Partner supports the HR Manager and the HR team in all aspects of HR and is responsible for the HR metrics and deliverables in the areas they business partner with. This role is a strategic partner with all levels of leadership to help develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
Assist the HR Manager in the administration and implementation of all phases in human resources including but not limited to employment, compensation, benefits, merit and VPP payments, labour relations, training, and employee’s compensation.
Ensure data on HR systems are kept up to date and accurate.
Support with the submission of accurate data to Payroll department each month.
Responsible for working with business area leaders, employees and employee representatives to foster culture of employee engagement.
Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Facilitate performance management processes across all levels of the organisation.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding and development programmes to support the organisation attracting and retaining talent.
Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision making and improve HR practices.
Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or CIPD level 5
3-5 years HR experience and/or general employee relations experience
Skills:
Strong UK employment legislation knowledge
Strong business acumen to support decision making.
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
