Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and the ability to work with different materials, particularly sheet metal. This role is crucial in ensuring that all fabricated components meet quality standards and specifications.
Duties
* Weld and assemble metal components using various welding techniques, including stick welding.
* Fabricate parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal products.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
* Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of different welding techniques.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Mechanical knowledge to understand machinery operation and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £28,886.00-£35,500.00 per hour
