Job Title: Business Resilience Senior Analyst

Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract
The Role
Operating with 1LOD, accountable for ensuring a consistent Group-wide framework is in place to systemically identify, measure, mitigate, report, monitor & manage resilience risks. To provide analytical, administration, and assurance/oversight activities, in support of the Group-wide Business Continuity & Operational Resilience framework and associated processes. This includes supporting the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of related policies, incident & crisis management & communications plan, procedures, business impact assessments, and business continuity plans; as well as providing advice and support to all business areas.
Outcomes of the Role
* Supports the delivery of the Group-wide Business Resilience framework and associated processes.
* Supporting the development and embedding of the framework across the Group, to ensure that the Group meets regulatory obligations.
* Supports the completion of the business impact analysis (BIA) and business continuity plan (BCP) annual cycle.
* Support the transformation of data analysis and reporting for business continuity and resilience activities.
* Supports in major incident and crisis management awareness, training and exercise sessions.
* Provide support to the management of risks across business resilience, helping ensure that arrangements are in place to protect the firm from risk realisation.
* Maintain and enhance detailed data mapping for important business services.
* Analyse, and assemble data for report preparation and produce MI as required.
* Complete ad hoc activities and projects as required.
Detailed Role Duties & Responsibilities
Business Resilience Activities
* Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group business resilience programme, assisting with regulatory compliance.
* Supporting business areas in the development of their business impact analysis and continuity planning, ensuring that they remain within agreed tolerances.
* Support management (incident management team and crisis management team) in the event of a major incident or crisis event.
* Supporting in the delivery of appropriate training and awareness of the Groups Operational Resilience obligation.
* Working closely with key stakeholders, in particular Technology, Supplier Management and RIM Operations, to maintain a Group-wide resilience mapping, to underpin Operational Resilience.
* Working closely with colleagues, in particular, Supplier Management to support understanding of third-party (and fourth-party) supplier relationships; and mapping to the delivery of RIMs important business services.
* Provide support to the Group Business Continuity & Resilience Committee. Facilitate the design and testing of business continuity plans with business owners, ensuring results and lessons learned are captured and reported accordingly.
* Support the coordination, facilitation, & delivery (as required) of awareness & training activities, promoting business resilience & enhancing understanding across the Group.
* Supporting the management of business resilience risks, helping to ensure that arrangements are in place to protect the firm from risk.
* Promote a culture of operational resilience throughout the Group.
* Ensure adherence to the risk management policy and procedures, including expected standards of internal control.
Reporting
* Supporting the data inputs into the monthly reporting to the Director of Shared Services highlighting areas of concern, key risks & salient issues.
* Participate, engage & produce regular updates (when requested) to senior management, including the GEC, on business resilience risks & issues; including the Groups adherence to regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Experience in process mapping, business continuity/resilience planning or assessment of IT/operational risk would be an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to produce MI and reports, and report and present findings.
* PC literate; good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
* Ability to quickly review data, interpret and provide meaningful interpretation and output.
* Able to communicate proactively and confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Good organisation and time management skills.
* Excellent and persuasive communicator, both verbally and in written form.
* Proactive stance towards continual professional development.
* Ideally worked within a similar role within business resilience, business continuity, risk or a regulatory area.
* Financial services knowledge advantageous.
* Knowledge of ISO22301 & PRA/FCA operational resilience requirements would be beneficial.
