Juice is pleased to be supporting a leading publisher based in Bath, in their search for a talented Senior Advertising Sales Executive. Our client is a market leader in the sector and they are on a mission to help people lead happier healthier lives through our food, wellbeing and music brands across print, digital and live events.
You will be working on an award-winning magazine, where you’ll be responsible for generating revenue through advertising sales.
DAY TO DAY:
This is the perfect role for someone with a passion for media and an avid interest in wellbeing and healthy living. You should have an engaging personality, be highly organised, creative, and ambitious. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and be experienced in canvasing new business, achieving targets, and building lasting relationships.
1. Proactively approach potential clients through new leads, customer calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means.
2. Promote a portfolio of multimedia advertising solutions that fit the customer's needs.
3. Maintain and manage new and existing business relationships.
4. Deliver a professional sales presentation to potential clients, either by phone, video or in person.
5. Ensure every competitor brand is fully canvassed.
6. Detail pricing and negotiates costs when necessary.
7. Travel to see clients, attend tradeshows, or participate in industry events or trainings.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
8. Ideally 2 years minimum sales experience with a proven track record of hitting sales targets within the last 12 months.
9. Fantastic communication skills with a professional and personable telephone manner.
10. An outgoing personality and great interpersonal skills.
11. Persuasiveness.
12. Driven, motivated, and proactive.
13. Great organisation and time management skills with a team-orientated mindset.
14. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
15. Ideally, you’ll understand social media channels, web traffic and e-data.
