Job Title: ATM Network Lead Engineer Location : Dundee, Scotland Salary: £40k - £50k (based on skills and experience) What is this role of an ATM Network Lead Engineer? The ATM Network Lead Engineer’s key responsibility is the delivery of first-class ATM Network Communications services for the UK & EU markets. Responsible for leading a small team of ATM Network Analysts to provide support to the business on all ATM network related matters, including project delivery, new customer installations and day to day support of the ATM endpoint networks. You will be using the Company’s in-house ATM Management Platforms and vendor management platforms to proactively manage the ATM Network estate, identifying and resolving problems effectively, ensuring maximum availability for our customers. The Lead Engineer will work collaboratively with all departments across the business, acting as the SME to ensure the delivery of all ATM Network related projects and support requirements. The role also works closely with suppliers on the delivery of critical business projects and customer onboarding, acting as the lead on Supplier service review meetings, delivering continuous improvement in service and ensuring all items raised are owned and addressed. What will I be doing as an ATM Network Lead Engineer? Overseeing the delivery of first-class ATM Network services to our customers, ensuring the endpoint network connectivity solutions are operating effectively and are meeting SLAs. Acting as the Lead for ATM Network incidents and BAU support queries, working through plans of actions and next steps, acting as an SME resource for internal departments to identify and resolve any issues. Working with suppliers ensuring any incidents are resolved effectively, within process and agreed SLAs. Acting as the point of escalation for any critical incidents, including 24/7 support when required. Lead the implementation of ATM Network upgrade projects, including the migration from PSTN/DSL/3G services to FTTC/FTTP and 4G networks, as well as working with our suppliers to identify new network solutions to meet the needs of our business and our customers. As we continue to expand our business, lead the implementation of ATM Network services into new markets to support acquisition of new customers. Build strong relationships with internal departments and suppliers, ensuring ATM Network solutions delivered are in line with business and customer requirements. Development of KPIs to monitor and track and manage performance, identifying trends and taking appropriate action to deliver any improvements or resolve issues. Assisting with scoping business or technical requirements and project planning. Support continuous improvement projects, to delivering operational efficiencies and reductions in support and installations costs. Assisting with the budgeting and financial planning for ongoing support and development of the ATM Network estate. What will I need to succeed as an ATM Network Lead Engineer? Broad understanding of Network Infrastructure, and protocols, including router configurations and networking concepts. Knowledge of ATM/Payments & Networks operations. Ability to meet targets under pressure and deal with multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem solving skills with a "can do" attitude. Experience in either a similar IT or Operational role, supporting large scale endpoint networks and terminals. Customer service mind-set with high technical competency with preferable previous network management and/or troubleshooting experience. Excellent MS Office skills including Excel. Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools. Desire to learn and develop knowledge in all related areas. Qualifications in network fundamentals are desirable.
