£32,000 to £52,000 pro annum depending on experience
Location:
Bristol or Burton is preferable but would consider any office for the right candidate.
Working Pattern:
We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office and working from home.

As an Infrastructure Engineer in our Cloud Computing team, you'll experience a culture built on mutual support, ensuring that no one ever feels stuck, isolated, or alone. As well as the overarching ownership of our public cloud platform (Microsoft Azure), the Cloud Computing Team are responsible for many important user-facing hybrid cloud services, including:
* Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops and Citrix DaaS
* Windows and Linux File Servers
* Windows and Linux High Performance Computing (HPC) servers and clusters
* Application servers
* License servers
* Development Environments
Reporting to the Cloud Computing Lead and supported by the rest of the Business Systems Department, you will act mainly as a Linux and HPC subject matter expert and your time will be split approximately as follows:
* 80% dealing with tier 3 incident escalations & request fulfilment.
* 20% project support helping to design, build and improve our services.
Requirements
Essentials:
* Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or equivalent demonstrable experience and knowledge.
* Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent demonstrable experience and knowledge.
* ITIL Foundation Certification - or relevant experience working in an ITIL aligned organisation.
* BASH Scripting
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
Desirable / Beneficial Skills:
The following are not essential for applicants, but could strengthen your application if you possess knowledge or experience of:
* Red Hat Satellite
* SLURM HPC Cluster Administration
* Azure NetApp Files
* Azure Cyclecloud
* Azure DevOps / DevOps Server / GITHub
* Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops / Citrix DaaS
* Ansible
* Familiarity with compiling applications from source code
* Familiarity with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
