Solid understanding of contracts and relevant industry regulations. Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) industry is preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in cost estimation and financial analysis. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. RICS membership is desirable but not essential. Competent in using Microsoft Office and relevant project management software. Full UK/ROI driving license Senior Quantity Surveyor Skills: Oversee the commercial management of projects, including cost control, budgeting, and subcontractor management. Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage procurement, and participate in tender processes. Work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while maximizing project profitability. Negotiate and review contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor project financial performance and provide detailed reports to senior management. Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the commercial team. Ensure that projects achieve optimal commercial returns. Prepare and present accurate cost/value reconciliation reports. Manage interim valuations and agree on final accounts with subcontractors to optimize project margins. Ensure sub-contract orders are prepared following company procedures and contract requirements.
