PAY RATE:
£12.21 per hour
WORKING PATTERN:
Nights 4 on 4 off 12hrs shifts
THE ROLE:
A great opportunity has arisen within Amulet for a Corporate Security Officer in Bristol. We are seeking an experienced, presentable, and articulate Security officer who is able to deliver excellent customer service to both the client and the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property.
2. Manage entry points, verify identification, and enforce on-site rules and regulations.
3. Conduct foot patrols, monitor CCTV, and secure access points.
4. Address and de-escalate incidents, complete reports, and liaise with emergency services.
5. Keep accurate records for staff, visitors, and contractors attending site.
6. Assist with locking/unlocking buildings and reporting maintenance issues.
7. Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
8. Adhere to legislation and GDPR compliance.
9. Maintain professionalism.
SKILLS:
1. Knowledge of security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
2. Capable of problem-solving and dealing with a variety of situations; very customer service-focused.
3. Evidence of strong time management skills.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. Vigilant with a “can do” approach to all tasks.
6. Computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Possession of a valid SIA Licence.
2. First Aid qualification is desirable.
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
1. Passport or Full Birth Certificate.
2. Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months.
3. Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits, or HMRC letter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
