We are looking for a passionate, creative and career driven Head chef with experience in all forms of catering to help develop our evolving catering offer for an elite sports team in Milton Keynes.

Our Milton Keynes location serves around 1500 customers across 4 outlets, including 3 restaurants, 3 coffee bars and a deli bar, alongside this we also cater for high profile hospitality events. Job Description
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
1. Plan, prepare, cook and present food to the standards required
2. Ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers.
3. Control portion size and monitor waste
4. Ensure supplies are correctly issued, used and accounted for to carry out stock takes and food rotation procedures
5. Maintain records relating to food production activities and supplier information
6. Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy
7. Set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen
8. Assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
9. Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
10. Display a real passion for food
11. Good secondary education
12. NVQ qualification or equivalent
13. Excellent craft skills background
14. Successful progressive background in catering
15. Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
16. Strong Supervisory experience
17. Excellent backgorund in high end hospitality across multiple locations.
18. Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
