About the Role As a People Development Trainer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering training programmes that equip our operational teams with the skills and knowledge needed to provide gold-standard service to our residents. Working closely with the People Development Manager, you’ll ensure that training meets business needs and supports our People Development strategy. This role offers variety – one day, you might be delivering customer excellence or client communication training, and the next, developing systems training and operational manuals. You’ll be hands-on, engaging, and proactive in identifying skill gaps and improving performance across all levels of our operational teams. While Liverpool-based, this role requires regular travel across the UK and Ireland to deliver on-site training. What You’ll Be Doing Design & Deliver Training: Create engaging and effective training programmes for new and existing colleagues, both in-person and virtually. Assess & Improve Skills: Use feedback tools such as IIS and GSLI to track performance, identify skill gaps, and implement improvements. Collaborate & Support: Work closely with Operations, Portfolio Managers, and Central Services to ensure training aligns with business needs. Drive Compliance & Best Practice: Keep training materials up to date with industry trends, regulations, and operational requirements. Track & Report Progress: Ensure all training is logged and measured, providing valuable insights to the People Development Manager and Senior Leadership. What We’re Looking For Training Expertise: Proven experience in designing and delivering training in PBSA, hospitality, or Build to Rent (preferred but not essential). Engaging & Dynamic Approach: Ability to captivate an audience, motivate teams, and adapt training to different learning styles. Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality training standards. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AI and e-learning platforms is a plus.
