IT Project Manager RequiredOffice based in Stevenage, SG1£600per day via umbrella (NO LTD)Starting April6 months, minimum Key Responsibilities:Draw up and maintain project and communication plans that will support the delivery of the various IT projects being undertaken.Effectively manage and report on project budgets.Work with all parties to agree, co-ordinate and schedule project activities.Directing and motivating the project team as appropriate.Work closely with suppliers and book relevant technical resources to deliver project tasksProduce and share weekly/bi-weekly/monthly project highlight reports.Highlighting IT project risks, evaluate, communicate to key people and manage those risks. If necessary, feed these risks into the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.Managing expectations for the delivery of the project and escalating issues on deadlines as early as possible to enable appropriate corrective action to be taken.Undertaking project closure as per the IT project management approachEnsure that the necessary project documentation has been completed.Ensure that any changes to the originally agreed scopes of work are managed through change control and that the results of the changes are documented and clearly communicated to all key stakeholders.Ensure that the necessary project documentation has been completed.Ensure project management methodology always followed during IT change lifecycle.Skills and Experience:Ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels.Experience of financial accounting and reporting practices. Such as costs, and risks.Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.Experience of managing IT projects or IT change in a range of different organisations /market sectorsThorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective action.Experience of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions Requirements:Experience working on projects which have required significant business change management.Experience of working with formal project methodologies (e.g. APM, PRINCE 2) and associated accreditation (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner)Experience of managing third party suppliersEnsure all required processes, procedures and controls are in place.Experience of managing multiple projects / workstreams.Provision of reporting and metrics which demonstrate effective governance and control which meet customer/business requirements.Risk/Issue Management and ensuring escalation processes in place and used effectively.Degree or equivalent, professional qualification advantageous (such as PRINCE2/AgilePM).Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.To discuss this vacancy, please apply to the job with your updated CV
