Job Description
A vacancy has occurred for a Task Team Catering Assistant who is motivated, interested in providing healthy & nutritious food to our young people, and who will take pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is delivered & maintained.
Duties will include:
1. Preparation of food
2. Basic cooking
3. Food service
4. Kitchen hygiene
5. Health and safety compliance with the Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act
Experience in Catering is essential; on-job training will be provided along with compulsory off-job training. A full clean driving license is essential as you will be required to work at different units as needed.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
