Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our facilities management team in Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work while working safely and efficiently. They will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively, and have a strong attention to detail.
The role will involve a range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and minor works projects. The candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests to resolve faults and minimize disruption
* Perform minor works projects to improve the condition and functionality of facilities
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to the Technical Facilities Manager
* Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and plans
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, building services)
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineer role, preferably with an electrical bias
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and testing
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work safely and efficiently
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
