About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer (Maternity Cover) to join our busy, award-winning Brand, Marketing, and Future Students team.
Reporting to the Head of the Brand, Marketing, and Future Students Team, you will lead a three-person Brand Team, including line managing the Graphic Designer and a Junior Graphic Designer.
The post holder will be responsible for the output of the Brand Team—delivering high-quality, on-brand design across print and digital channels, embracing innovative and trendy methods, and managing diverse briefs from various University stakeholders. The role also involves advocating for and advising on the AUB brand, supporting student recruitment campaigns, and overseeing the implementation of a project to optimize AUB’s marque.
The Senior Brand Designer will act as an ambassador for brand-led marketing theory and practice within the university, requiring excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments such as Marketing, Events, International, Student Services, HR, Access and Participation, academic teams, and Senior Management.
Candidates should be educated to degree level with solid knowledge and experience in graphic design practices, including software, printing, and digital formats. Knowledge of HTML5 design is preferred. Responsibilities include project assignment and management, mentoring team members, and leading solo projects as needed.
