We have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join us at Honeywell in London, where you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, commissioning, and fault finding along with effective repair, and first line escalation to all supported fire products on our client site. This is a static role with the occasional need for weekend work as required.

Key responsibilities
* Maintenance testing, start-up technical support of Fire equipment
* Perform Pre-planned Preventative Maintenance, re-active & commissioning works on systems
* Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults in fire alarm equipment, to include service and maintenance of third-party equipment
* Technical support across any type of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems from simple to moderately complex in nature. Perform and advise on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software)
* Identifying improvements within the system and proposing these to customers to drive efficiencies and reliability
Key skills and qualifications
* Previous experience of servicing Fire Alarm systems in particular Honeywell XLS80E and large multi-panel network systems
* A working knowledge of the current IEE regulations and relevant standards (BS7671 18th Edition)
* The ability to identify and satisfy customer needs as well as commercial opportunities
* Good communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
* Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and the ability to work within customer controlled environments
