Programme Support Officer (Medicines and Pharmacy)

Main duties of the job
The North East and North Cumbria ICB offers hybrid working in this role, meaning that the successful candidate can work from a mixture of locations including home, ICB offices, and on occasion partner bases.
About us
Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country and is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including promoting integration of health and care services, improving people's health and well-being, and reducing health inequalities.
With a £6.6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria, ICB staff work at place level with local health and wellbeing boards in each of our 14 local authority areas. These teams also collaborate with our 67 primary care networks, which are groups of local GP practices, social care teams, and other community-based area providers.
The ICB works with our Provider Collaborative, which includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.
Job responsibilities
You'll be responsible for planning, delivering, and monitoring a programme of work, using skills, tools, and techniques while operating within the ICB policies. Other duties will include analysing and presenting information to colleagues and external partners.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* First degree or professional qualification or equivalent and relevant experience
* Ability to search, analyse, and present information
* Communication skills, including the ability to work with others
* Flexibility in approach to meet changing needs of the role as required
* Knowledge of planning and performance management processes and procedures
* Experience working with external providers in a commissioner relationship
* Knowledge of NHS primary care, community, and secondary care services
