Electrical and Instrumentation Project and Commissioning Engineer - Water Industry
Competitive Salary with development opportunities: £50-65K
Location: Chelmsford, Essex, Reading Berkshire, Oxford or London.
Established in 2007, our client is a Project Delivery organisation specialising in MEICA Project Management and Commissioning services into the Water Industry.

Salary and benefits:
1. Between £50,000 and £65,000 dependant on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities include:
1. Provide expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.
2. Leading Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion.
3. Assist with the development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering designs.
4. Management of installation and commissioning activities.
5. Co-ordination of key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects.
6. Development and management of commissioning documentation.
7. Attend and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have experience in the following areas:
1. Understanding of Electrical and Instrument, and control & automation systems along with the ability to understand and work through electrical drawings and key documentation.
2. Familiarity with electrical system installations, MCCs, and control panels.
3. Project engineering or similar role.
4. Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities, resolving issues during the process.
5. Experience in the clean and wastewater industry (preferred, however not essential).
Other requirements:
1. Ability and desire to work within a closely integrated team.
2. Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
4. Desire to work flexibly between site, office, and from home.
5. Ability to attend meetings in various locations as per project requirements.
6. Ability to interpret information and data related to the role.
7. An Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate (dependent on experience) is essential for this role.
