THE COMPANY
Glen Clova Scientific Ltd (GCS) is developing a new generation of Active Biologics to treat inflammatory conditions. We are an ambitious spinout from the University of Dundee aiming to address the global need to make effective treatments available for millions of patients. Our novel Virus-Like-Particle technology is poised to address inherent limitations of the current blockbuster class of Biologic drugs. Our vision is to make high-end biotech pharmaceuticals much more accessible to patients than current blockbusters. If you aspire not only to be at the core of biotech innovation but also to tackle the global problem of high-cost medicine, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly dynamic team.
LOCATION
Dundee is an up-and-coming Biotech centre in a fantastic setting: Multiple beaches are within easy reach; housing is highly affordable even in catchments of nationally top-performing independent and state schools; there is a multitude of child-care providers. Transport and connections are excellent: the stunning Scottish Highlands can be reached in 45 minutes; the cultural buzz, and global airport connectivity of Edinburgh is 1h by train in addition to direct rail links to Glasgow (90 minutes) and Aberdeen (60 minutes).
