Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented candidate to become a Legal Secretary apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our legal practice. Key Responsibilities: Being a first point of contact for customers, handle incoming calls, providing excellent client care and escalating issues as appropriate. Perform accurate and efficient typing of legal documents and correspondence on Microsoft Word. Maintain organized and up-to-date records through our inhouse case management system. Utilise Microsoft Outlook to manage email correspondence and scheduling. Work with the Legal Aid online platform to manage applications and updates. Support the preparation and submission of legal aid applications and manage private client work. Prepare reports and assist with file management to support legal processes. Skills and Qualities: Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in an office environment desirable. Working week: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, 1 hour lunch, 35 hours a week. Salary: You will get a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum.
