Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and components, demonstrating proficiency in both installation and maintenance tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems within our projects.
Duties
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
2. Conduct EICR in domestic properties and remedial works.
3. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
4. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to rectify problems.
5. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
6. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
1. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety standards.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work mandatory for all applicants.
