We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering and Hospitality Professional to join our team at Chartwells. As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our catering operations and ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences to our students.
You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be able to motivate and inspire a team of catering staff to deliver outstanding results and provide a first-class experience for our customers.

About the Role:
* Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and budget control
* Supervise and train a team of catering staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation
* Develop and implement action plans to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences
* Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
Requirements:
* Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences
* Experience of managing teams and budgets
* NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
* Basic Food Hygiene certificate
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum. Please note that salaries may vary depending on location and experience.
