Operational Change Manager role spans contract duration until 30/04/2025, requiring 2-3 days per week in Knutsford, with a rate up to £685.13 p/d Umbrella. The role involves managing non-technical delivery for the internal CSO capability & operation, ensuring robust governance wrapper.
The manager will lead creation, communication, and implementation of Operational Change Initiatives, working with PMO to support initiative creation, detailed project plans, and risk assessment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead creation, communication, and implementation of Operational Change Initiatives
* Work with PMO to support initiative creation, detailed project plans, and risk assessment
* Deliver status reporting, transparency of risks and issues, and direct and matrix management of internal and third-party resources
* Create communication materials for multiple levels of stakeholders and manage day-to-day activities
* Ensure projects and initiatives meet delivery requirements and acceptance criteria
* Stakeholder Management and Leadership:
* Influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation to guide, influence, and convince peer and VP stakeholders
* Work collaboratively with business teams and stakeholders to ensure change meets business needs
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure continued buy-in to portfolio projects
* Develop a network of support across the operation to enable change delivery
* Provide advice and recommendations to influence decisions and ensure seamless landing of change

* Experience working on Operational Change activity with good understanding of client Change frameworks
* Relationship building, stakeholder management, and great communication skills
* Ability to challenge and offer alternative creative solutions to progress at speed and with quality
* Ability to make evaluative judgements based on analysis to resolve problems
* Desirable Skills:
* Experience leading and managing multiple stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
* Experience of project mobilisation, initiation, and planning, and management of established projects
* Demonstrable security awareness and understanding of security in the broad business context
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and Programme Management software tools
