What you'll do Reporting to the Senior MI Analyst and working closely with the Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include support and delivery of: business-wide MI & data provision development of Power BI dashboards, creating a platform for self-service reporting revenue assurance reconciliation of revenue of over £200m and related cost of sales across 175,000 supply points, consolidating data from multiple billing & ERP platforms supporting the Settlement Analyst in the identification and correction of erroneous settlement (wholesale) charges, streamlining existing processes through automation data and system alignment driving, already market-leading, performance charges towards 100% compliance by ensuring the alignment of data flows between meter reading, billing, and market systems business partnering to identify value-add opportunities driving efficiency through process improvement & creating innovative solutions to solve business challenges. What you'll need Our ideal MI Analyst will be: a competent SQL user with an understanding of database management an advanced Excel user with experience of Power Query and VBA familiar with CRM platforms, ideally Dynamics 365 or similar (e.g. Salesforce) experienced using BI tools, ideally Power BI, to develop and deliver dashboards to key stakeholders able to create and automate pipelines using ETL tools (e.g. Data Factory, SSIS, Alteryx) a confident communicator, being able to present complex ideas and provide insights to a non-technical audience conscientious, possessing a high level of attention to detail flexible in your approach to problem solving, demonstrating commercial awareness in decision-making able to collaborate with others, partnering with SMEs to drive business change educated to degree level in a STEM subject, having outstanding skills in statistical analysis effective at managing time independently, prioritising tasks in a changing environment.
