Care Home Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 DOE
With already over 100 homes in the UK, my client is a growing organisation that prides itself on its outstanding care services. They are looking for an experienced Home Manager who can support a well-established team, ensuring care standards are met, residents are catered to, and ultimately taking leadership for a successful home.
The Role
You will be responsible for all day-to-day operations within the care home and use leadership skills to maintain and even improve standards where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Use management and leadership skills to drive success within the team
2. Ensure a positive environment is maintained for both staff and residents
3. Meet all legal requirements and standards set by SSSC and Care Inspectorate
4. Financial management
5. Create and maintain relationships with residents, relatives, staff and external stakeholders
6. Maintain the reputation of the home, making improvements where necessary
Requirements
1. 3 years' experience as a home manager
2. RGN with active pin
3. Budget management
4. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation
5. Dementia care
6. Experience in being proactive to create new opportunities within the home
7. Strong independent and teamwork skills
8. Passion for care
