Job Summary Due to continued expansion into the Construction Market, TSL require a Commercial Manager to join the TSL team in Kildare & Northern Ireland. This an opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Manager to grow their career with support and guidance from Senior Management. The successful candidate will report directly to the Irish Commercial Director and will have regular correspondence with the business leaders. Duties & Responsibilities The role of a TSL Commercial Manger will consist of, but is not limited to, the below; Client / Project Account Management from set-up, interim valuations, variations and final account. Ensure compliance with contract obligations and provide advice to the TSL delivery / construction team. Review programme and construction constraints and support the team to overcome these issues while maintaining cost and on-site progress. Provide support to close out all project procurement requirements in conjunction with the Procurement Team. Subcontractor Account Management from initial award, interim valuations, variations and final account. Managing and forecasting of turnover and cash flow for Finance Department. Ability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to TSL Leadership team. Manage and maintain monthly progress applications both upstream and downstream. Submission of Monthly CVR’s and present monthly cost position to Commercial Director. Liaise with all project stakeholders and maintain good relationships. Managing the commercial team and develop junior/intermediate commercial managers. Key Skills and Competencies Relevant third level qualification in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Economics is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in Data Centre Construction is preferred but is not essential. Minimum 8 years' experience on large commercial projects €20m. Commercially astute with a strong understanding of the construction process A self-starter able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and self-motivation and be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy Methodical, analytical and organised with an attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work under pressure Able to build effective relationships across the business and externally at all levels Open to feedback with a willingness to learn and improve Benefits We offer a competitive salary, car allowance and pension and healthcare package, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
