Job Description:
As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon TA, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your primary focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, mitigating risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues. This will ensure the availability and quality of our equipment are consistently high.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure health and safety best practices are upheld in all work carried out, adhering to all health and safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on a range of equipment within the site, including mechanical and electrical systems.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns, sending feedback and suggestions for improvements to your line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Collaborate with senior reliability engineering technicians to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Manage contractors effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Hold a served engineering indentured apprenticeship or be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC at Level 3). Please provide proof of qualifications as part of Amazon's Terms of Employment.

• Possess multi-skilled knowledge in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience in fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
• Ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with panel wiring.
• Experience with sortation machines.
• Experience in maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
• Experience with print and apply machines.
