The successful candidate will design, develop, deliver, maintain and evaluate Learning Technologies training programmes to support the needs of end users in operational and specialist departments across Police Scotland. You will have a minimum of SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant learning and development subject. In the absence of this qualification you will have a combination of relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a training delivery environment or be experienced in the use of core IT Applications delivered by the Learning Technologies Department and evidence of transferable skills. Applicants should have digital literacy and proficiency using multiple software packages and pieces of hardware as well as the ability to prioritise work to ensure set deadlines are met. As this is an internal facing service delivery role, Hybrid Working is not guaranteed, and there may be the requirement to be in the workplace up to 5 days each week. There will also be a requirement for the postholder to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings and workshops, and, on occasion this may require overnight stays away from home.
