Are you an experienced dietitian looking for your first steps into line management of a small team? If so we have a great opportunity for you!
We are looking for someone with great all round clinical experience with both in and out patients. This includes cover for an 8 bed Critical Care unit so experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
Some previous line management/supervision experience is required and training /supervision can be provided to build on these skills. You would be the site link with the Principal Dietitian who is based at RSCH.
Princess Royal Hospital is a district general hospital, with a friendly feel, which is part of the larger teaching Trust. As such there are excellent opportunities for CPD within the the extended team.
Haywards Heath is a popular town with the South Downs, Brighton and London all easily reached. It also is family friendly with excellent schools.
Main duties of the job
1. Acute inpatient ward cover including critical care
2. Weekly outpatient clinic
3. Team Lead site role including day to day management of PRH site including but not limited to: AppraisalsSupervisionInduction of new staffManagement of annual leave, sickness, recruitment etcSite meetingsMeeting updates to Principal Dietitian.

12. Degree/MSc/PhD in Nutrition & Dietetics and fully HCPC registered
13. Extensive acute in/outpatient dietetic experience
14. Student training experience and relevant course
15. Line management experience e.g. appraisals, interviewing, sickness & annual leave
16. Examples of service development
17. Relevant clinical courses e.g. PENG/BDA critical care
Desirable criteria
18. Critical Care experience and BDA critical care course
19. Experience of organising home enteral feed discharges
20. Parenteral nutrition experience
