JOB PURPOSE:
Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dynamic Maths Teacher/Lecturer to develop and deliver engaging learning programmes. You will plan and deliver Maths lessons to learners of varying abilities, using a diverse range of teaching strategies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Promote and Recruit: Actively promote our courses and play a key role in recruiting and enrolling enthusiastic students.
2. Tailored Assessments: Conduct assessments that cater to individual learning needs, ensuring every student gets the support they need.
3. Safe Learning Environment: Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel secure and motivated.
4. Inspire and Educate: Deliver creative and inspiring lessons that encourage students to reach their full potential.
5. Constructive Feedback: Mark and assess student work, offering valuable feedback to help them improve and succeed.
6. Lead with Excellence: Lead a programme or course, maintaining high standards and providing top-quality educational experiences.
7. Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with student support services, external agencies, and parents to support student progress.
8. Guide Future Paths: Offer guidance and advice to support students in making informed decisions about their future and achieving high rates of progression.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience: Demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning within GCSE and/or Functional Skills mathematics.
Skills: Ability to inspire and engage students, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Qualifications: Educated to degree level or holding a relevant occupational qualification in Maths. Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. A*-C in Maths and English.
