Social Media Manager – Cocktail Week (UK)
Cocktail Week events are a celebration of the best bars and cocktails across 18 major cities in the UK & Ireland. Designed to support the local hospitality industry, our events drive footfall, generate excitement, and boost sales for participating venues. With a strong digital presence, we engage audiences through creative and compelling content that highlights the best of each city’s cocktail culture.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to take our digital presence to the next level. This role will be responsible for maximising reach and engagement across all social media channels, producing compelling content, and building a thriving online community. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless promotion of our Cocktail Week events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a social media strategy to maximise reach, engagement, and follower growth across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Create engaging and visually appealing content, including posts, reels, stories, videos, and graphics, tailored to each platform.
* Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive ticket sales, event awareness, and brand partnerships.
* Manage content scheduling and publishing using social media management tools.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, using insights to optimise future content and campaigns.
* Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster strong audience relationships.
* Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep our content fresh and innovative.
* Work with bars, brand partners, and influencers to amplify reach and collaboration opportunities.
* Capture live content at key events, bringing the energy of Cocktail Week to our digital audience.
About You:
* Proven experience managing social media accounts, ideally within the hospitality, events, or drinks industry.
* Strong content creation skills, including photography, videography, and copywriting.
* Ability to create compelling social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
* A passion for cocktails, hospitality, and events.
* Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
* Familiarity with influencer marketing and digital collaborations.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel for events and content creation as needed.
