Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for aviation and asset management? We are seeking a Teardown Project Manager to oversee all aircraft teardown projects worldwide. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with our business objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
Project Management & Teardown Operations:
* Oversee teardown projects worldwide, securing cost-effective agreements and ensuring operational efficiency.
* Identify and secure optimal teardown locations with the acquisition team.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, recycling standards, and best practices.
Commercial & Profitability Focus:
* Maximise asset recovery value and manage project budgets.
* Work with finance teams to track costs and improve margins.
* Negotiate with MROs and suppliers to enhance profitability.
Technical & Compliance:
* Ensure proper removal, packaging, and shipment of aircraft parts.
* Review aircraft parts documentation to protect asset value.
* Coordinate with customs and repairs teams for compliance and efficiency.
Logistics & Cost Management:
* Work closely with logistics teams for timely, cost-efficient shipping.
* Manage and mitigate cost-related issues while maintaining operational effectiveness.

What you will bring:
Commercial & Financial Acumen:
* Strong understanding of cost structures, asset valuation, and financial impact of teardown projects.
* Ability to assess the commercial value of aircraft parts and optimise teardown strategies.
Technical Expertise:
* Deep knowledge of aircraft and engine systems, teardown processes, and MRO operations.
* Ability to inspect aircraft, evaluate parts for resale potential, and review documentation.
* Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Communication & Negotiation Skills:
* Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable agreements with MROs and teardown partners.
Operational Flexibility & Travel:
* Willingness to travel frequently to teardown sites worldwide (minimum once per month).
* Ability to manage multiple projects in diverse operational environments.
