The school support local authorities and mainstream schools to work with young people who require an alternative approach to their education. Many students have been diagnosed SEND/SEMH (or are awaiting diagnosis), and/or have been excluded from at least one mainstream school. The school are looking for a passionate and driven Pastoral mentor to join there dedicated team. Requirements Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives. Qualification: GCSEs in Maths and English C or 4 grade and above (or an equivalent) Knowledge: Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs. Experience: Working within an education setting or equivalent. Communication: Professional communication with students and staff.
