About the Role:
Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic Mixed Humanities Teacher with a specialisation in Religious Education (RE) to join a well-respected secondary school in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) to become an integral part of a supportive and dynamic teaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across a range of Humanities subjects, including Religious Education (RE). Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to a diverse range of learning needs and abilities. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential. Contribute to the development of the Humanities department, sharing best practices and resources with colleagues. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong academic background in Humanities and RE. Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level, with a particular focus on Religious Education. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.Why Join Us?
