Location: London\n Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working\n Salary: £95k to £121k plus £5k car allowance\n Closing Date: Friday, 2nd May\n\nWe are excited to offer an exceptional career opportunity for a Head of Property Services at one of the UK's largest housing associations. This pivotal role is based in London and offers a hybrid working model, blending office-based and remote work.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs the Head of Property Services, you will be responsible for delivering a consistent M&E servicing and repairs service with an annual budget of approximately £35m-£40m. You will ensure that our supply chain partners deliver M&E services that are prompt, safe, and responsive to the needs of our residents.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and implement the Property Services strategy and business plan, aligning with the organisation's mission and values.\nManage significant operational areas, ensuring contractors and supply chain partners adhere to Health and Safety regulations.\nOversee contract management programs and manage a portfolio of major facilities services.\nSet and manage budget plans for Property Services, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.\nEvaluate team capabilities, identify skill gaps, and prioritize development activities.\nLead stakeholder engagement, understanding their needs and concerns to support effective communication.\nRepresent the organisation in various industry forums, boards, and committees.Required Experience and Skills:\n\nDegree level qualification in a property-related discipline and/or leadership experience.\nExtensive experience as a Head of Service in a national housing association.\nProven track record of leading change in large organisations.\nDeep understanding of the social housing environment, including regulation and emerging government policy.\nExceptional communication skills, both oral and written.\nDemonstrated ability to deliver high-value maintenance services and achieve high levels of resident satisfaction.\nExperience in managing complex and high-value budgets.\nSolid knowledge of housing construction, building pathology, and the operation of mechanical and electrical assets.Desirable:\n\nMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB).How to Apply:\n\nIf you are driven by excellence and eager to lead a team that impacts the community positively, we would love to hear from you.
