Head of Inclusion (SENDCO)
Altrincham Grammar School for Boys (AGSB) are seeking to appoint a dynamic, well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Inclusion - Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENDCO) from the 1st September 2025.
As Head of Inclusion (SENDCO), you will play a key role in shaping the strategic approach to inclusion, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. You will also lead and manage the strategy to support Pupil Premium (PP) students and the 6th Form Bursary Scheme.
The Head of Inclusion (SENDCO) will lead and manage the Learning Support Department and works closely with the Senior Leadership Team who are responsible for ensuring that all students, regardless of their background or abilities, are able to participate fully in School life and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be an associate member of the Schools Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and management of the SEND provision and PP and Bursary strategy across the School.
The role will be paid on the Leadership scale, point L8 – L10, currently £56,082 - £62,202.

The School:
Founded in 1912, the school is rated “Outstanding” in all areas by Ofsted (2022) and secures some of the best examination results at GCSE and A level in the country. Almost all students progress to university with many attending the best Russell Group universities including Oxford, Cambridge and many others.
We tailor our curriculum to ensure students are nurtured as well-rounded individuals, excelling in core subjects like Mathematics, English and the Sciences but who are also deeply knowledgeable about the Arts and Humanities.
